Aubrey Elenz is a New York City based photographer whose interests in travel and creative expression have resulted in an eclectic collection of images from around the world. 

 

Aubrey was introduced to travel at an early age. In fact, her first memories are from a trip to visit relatives in Germany at the age of four. She went on to attend high school at the Academy for Global Studies in Austin, Texas where her passion for learning about different cultures only grew. She continued to foster her love for travel in her college years by studying abroad in both London and Madrid. Recently, Aubrey has worked as a part-time technology consultant that requires her to travel weekly to new locations both in the United States and abroad. Through this experience she has developed a great appreciation for traveling alone, expanded her love for exploring new places, and learned how to find the unique magic in every new destination. She has traveled to 16 countries across North America, South America, Europe and the Middle East, as well as 31 states in the USA.

 

Aubrey has also always had a passion for creativity and artistry. Since the age of ten, she has wanted to be an artist. She worked in the music industry as a singer, songwriter, and guitar player in Austin during her teenage years. She produced her first original album at age 14 and has performed at many esteemed venues and events, including the SXSW and Austin City Limits music festivals. Aubrey went on to receive her BFA in Drama at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, and has performed in theatrical productions in New York and London. Her latest endeavor is producing an indie feature film in Texas. Creativity and artistic expression is in her blood.

 

Photography has quickly become a tool to combine Aubrey’s artistic mind with her desire to explore the world. She has discovered a deep love for getting lost in a new city with her camera and experiencing its energy through the lens. She is eager to continue to learn more about this art form and to visit as many new places as possible.
